Each year, ADC Switzerland honors the best advertising and communication work from a collection of outstanding ideas. For every edition of the ADC Yearbook, an innovative approach is sought to uphold its high standards.
The ADC Yearbook 13 marked the final edition in a traditional book format, as future award-winning works will be available exclusively in digital form. The challenge for this last printed edition was to convey the motto “It’s all about the idea” in a clear and original way.
I partnered with renowned design studio Atelier Oï to reimagine the yearbook as more than just a record—it became a tactile, visual experience. Globally recognized as a symbol of creativity, the light bulb served as the inspiration for the design of the yearbook. It was crafted to fold into a lamp, allowing users to display it and continue to illuminate the ideas presented within. With its unique design elements, the yearbook bridges the fields of creative advertising, design, and art, which are becoming increasingly prominent at ADC Switzerland.
